You finally got your favorite film, but it is not in your language. Did you know that there are lots of subtitles that can be downloaded from the Internet?

Then, you will surely find the language subtitle you are looking for but it is also probable that it will not be synchronized with your film version.
TimeSub offers to help you synchronize your subtitles, but it will also convert between formats, merge various files, split subtitles and even help you translate them. As there are more sophisticated and comprehensive applications capable of doing these tasks effectively, TimeSub’s main asset is its extremely low size and ease of use. The interface is quite simple; you can add files by opening them or dragging them into the window. To synchronize the subtitles, you just need to open the corresponding file and enter the first and last subtitles’ times. After this, you are ready to save the file with the new timings. There is a Keep Time Rate option that will correct the timings to maintain their lengths. Otherwise, if you need to vary the time gap, you can unselect Keep Time Rate.
Two subtitle formats are available. This application is capable of converting from SRT to SUB formats and vice versa. You just need to open the desired subtitles and use Save As to change the format. Besides, if you need to merge two or more subtitle files, you can open them at the same time. Just be sure they have the same format. On the contrary, you can also use the Crop option to split subtitles into several files. Finally, there are exporting options that will make it easier for you to use an automatic translator to translate your subtitles.
Despite these advantages above, TimeSub does not allow previewing the video and subtitles from its interface, which I consider very useful. And this is obviously its main limitation.
